So, Balls Everywhere gun. What's the verdict?

LND bots are all right. They take so fucking long to kill due to their speed and warping and hard-to-hit-in-CQC it's not worth the ammo most of the time. A full 15 LND would likely rape most normal teams with balanced LND/AIR/ART because there wouldn't be enough to defend the ART with their massive BP.

Jet Hammer, Calamaty Sword
Power, high damage melee. Zero combo ability.

Power Shooter, Cross Shooter.
They're bowcasters. Great range, phenomenal shot speed, and good damage. (Power Shot is Med, and better damage, Cross Shooter is small) Gurgle your best wookie impression through the microphone for bonus points.

Cocktail Bomb
It's a molotov cocktail. Can set foes on fire.

SB Pitcher
Disco Electric Nerfgun of Doom. You will hit nothing intentionally(it sprays shots up into the air around your position, good for hovering foes I suppose) which then bounce randomly in a vaugly forward path. Put Propeller bits on a 40Fly Shaden booster with this and the Cocktail bombs and you might possibly be even more annoying than a 40walk flamer whore.

Twister Fan
Without doubt my favourite new thing. Fires a burst of wind in front of you identical to the windstorms in haku final form... Except they hit as a Force 25 attack. I put this and a Combo Dagger on my Izuna (though I guess for the whole hog approach I could use the Swordstaff).

I have yet to try the Spiked shield, though....

Just tried out the Spiked Shield, and I like it. Alot.

Has no combo attacks of it's own, but it works into combinations well. It's a strong forward rush attack that will send foes flying away from you (and lends itself well to followup attacks from long-range melee like Slash blade beams, or tackle attacks).

However, when it breaks, it doesn't just go away... wherever the shield slam would have taken place in your combo, you now get the annoying out of ammo click and the combo stops. If the Shield slam replaced part of another combo, you don't get that back when the shield is gone.

For example, my normal combo with my Hartigarm is two strikes with the main weapon followed by the forward and then reverse spin. With the spiked shield it two strikes, spin, shield slam. When the shield is gone, I'm down to two strikes and a tail blade.

If the combo would put the Shield attack in the middle, then it just breaks the rest of the combo.

For example, if I lead with my forward spin then I get Forward Spin, Reverse Spin, Shield, Primary Melee... once the shield breaks, then the combo stops dead after the tail blade spins.

Cocktail bomb is not for AIR bots. You CANNOT throw bombs to the sides your characters. So circling above power stations is not a viable tactic with cocktail bombs. They require precise aiming that's better for other bots.

Also, Auto Beam Rifle mod is not that good. It has increased damage but the ammo capacity is bad. I ran out of ammo quickly with regular rifle, this one's even worse.

Highly recommended if you already use 2 rifles, though. Since you won't worry about ammo then.

Also, the mod has less range, but it's not that big of a deal because 300 range was overkill anyways.

Something becomes OP when there is no counter for it. There is no counter for shaden boostering blitz blaster power point strafing. Power points are not supposed to be a teams liability.

I'd just like to find something that can consistently counter them. It can be niche as hell.

I can't even solo the god-damn field so I don't know.(admittedly I was mostly in red gates though, because I couldn't find the blue ones) I do know not to bring Air units unless I want to be splattered all over again. But then I have to go through two big troll outposts shaped like the cyberstep logo that only air units can fly over.

Also those three bosses gang your shit right up into a corner if you let them. Can't even jump from being stunned.

All in all, you can probably do it if you're prepared and have actual weapons (I was just fucking around and had no real fighting setup but I got two of them down to half health in that 6 minutes even with them whooping on me.)

Well... this is pretty much true, I guess. All of the matches I had with WIZ didn't have them shadenfagging the PS.

Almost all of my matches with BRD had at least two shadenfaggers after the tactic got popular.

I don't recall any DOS guys shadenfagging though. I guess there should be some on our side, but we're too busy hugging the PS, spamming missiles.

So i usually always play air and now i'm trying to build a melee for the first time. With boost run on ivis do i up fly or walk? I'm going for a quick moving ground unit who can harrassing with a rocket launcher and close in for melee when the opportunity arises.

Str = probably for melee damage
tec = probably not since ranged will be for harassment
walk = not sure
fly = not sure
tgh = mabye?

i'm going for stealth system too.

I've gotten 1st place twice with my AIR bots, but those were flukes. Best I can get consistently is second place. First place is ALWAYS a melee bot.
