As of now, this new system is still in beta. Please keep this in mind. At this moment, it is only possible to upload mp3 files and songs won't be requested automatically. We can switch to the old system anytime if something goes wrong.

Anyway, please give feedback over this new system. Post any error messages you get, post opinions, suggestions, whatever.
Main server holds 5 users. There are a number of relay servers up that automatically redirect you when the main server is full, so don't worry.

You can still submit logo's for the website. Make sure it's 300x100 and I'll make sure it's in the rotation. Lets see some of that /jp/ creativity.

Point out any problems you have with V2. It's still being worked on, and if there are any major problems we'll just switch to the old version.

True, I didn't have much time around C76 and booked last minute so it was tricky to find some convenient dates without astronomical prices.

The winter is easier like that, not too cold, and still has a load of stuff going on to the point I had to pick and choose what I did at certain days.

I probably wont be able to around C78 due to entrance exam, so the next time will probably be around C79. Last new years was pretty awesome, I went to the IOSYS countdown, it was pretty decent, there was Muzik Servant, Rolling Contact, and REDALiCE as mystery guest DJ. There were also some IOSYS live performance of stuff like Club Ibuki In Break All which was awesome since they were hanging around dancing, their Suika girl was in full cosplay and pretty tiny.

Last song I heard in 2009 was, therefore, obvious.

Adding to that: The best thing about C76 was that event for children on the other side of odaiba that was happening at the same time, near the gundam display. All the porn loaded guys returning from the big site were crammed into the train with very worried looking families with small children, and by crammed I mean overloaded by japanese standards.

It was a great sight.

Depending where you go things will be different.
Tokyo is far and wide one of the safest places I have ever been to, not to mention one of the cleanest also.
Just like with all places though there are certain areas you should stay far away from.
You can learn about those from any tourist site though.
Examples of this are Kabuki-cho adjacent to Shinjuku Station is a place to be wary of at night.
Sanya is another to watch out for with all the drunks living in flophouses.

However I explored all the nightspots at some point. I wouldn't say to stay away from places such as kabukicho, it's an interesting place to go to see. Just don't go into places and refuse to let anyone talk you into such a place. If you're a white male you're generally safe if you're not dense and dumb and you let a nigerian hustler push you around. Even in places like that I have felt more safe than where I live.

Roppongi is a big tourist spot so it's very safe and made to entertain. I was talking to an old grandpa on the train once and he just assumed that was where I was heading.

I completely started over again. Working from scratch on it. I have the volume leveling issues worked out. I am just looking for the right songs to string together that sound good when faded in and out.

I understand the point of /jp/ radio but mixing it up here and there is okay right?

Before I ever even started requesting songs I heard a fair amount of Rock/Ska/Punk/Metal that was not /jp/ related. I understand what you are saying though since this is /jp/ radio. I will respect that and limit the non /jp/ requests.

Variety is good, and I don't mind a non-/jp/ track thrown in now and then, but feels as if there's too many at times. Not all from you though, so I'm in no way pinning the blame solely on you. Sometimes I realize other people requested non-/jp/ related tracks around the same time as you did without you knowing, you can't really be at fault for that. Just, as you've said, limit yourself a bit.

I do see some nice requests and uploads from you every now and then.

I take offense to that, I have never requested a troll track, well maybe the banjo one once but the Satori,Fukkirete,Oniichan, and all that other bullshit I have never requested.

So I requested some non /jp/ songs big deal lots of ppl do. At least I am not requesting Boris or Black Metal. You can check my IP to prove that also.

He does have nice requests and uploads here and there, and he's a regular. Despite how much you may not like him, if he just limited himself a bit on what exactly he's requesting, his occasional requests here and there won't stand out so much.

If he toned down on the same requests and spaced out the stuff he liked more (it'd be nice if the long tracks weren't requested once a day. Maybe once a week instead, we don't need it repeated all the time even if it's in different time zones) then you probably wouldn't mind him too much, because he does make normal requests as well that aren't overplayed.

I guess sometimes you just get in a mood to hear them esp when it is something you have not heard in a long time. I could always just listen to it myself but I wanted to share it with others. Some like it and some don't
