The problem is that using memes usually doesn't go well with taking it easy. Most of the time they're just used to troll, which is pretty much the farthest from taking it easy you can be. Some memes are fine if they're actually funny and you don't spam them. We're a community and we need to respect each other by not shitting on the rest of the board. /jp/'s average age is not 12 and I think a good deal of us have gotten past that absolutely moronic stage in our lives.

Planetarian is short for a visual novel (~3 hours) and it's great if you like sad stories.

Another good visual novel is Tsukihime, although be aware that it's very different from other visual novels for a multitude of reasons. A lot of people here pretend to hate it (as well as another game by the same developer, Fate/stay night) but that's because it's incredibly popular, and for good reason too. Personally, I think it's easily one of the best translated visual novels.

Yeah, exactly. Some VNs are actually very minimalist on choices (like Saya no Uta, I think you could only make like 3 choices throughout the entire game?). Naruto was a special example. I've seen worse shows, a lot, in fact. The problem was what it would bring to the board. We knew quite clearly what would happen to /a/ if we kept letting Naruto to be posted. It had just gotten so many terrible fans that any community which discussed it would go down the shitter.
