You'd think that, but 3 or 4 years doesn't really change you as much as you'd like to believe when you've hit that age. When I was 15, I could very well pull off being an 18 year old just fine on the internet.

I guess it goes mostly with your personality. Some people are naturally more mature than others, so it's easier to act as if they were older, even if they don't really have all the experience needed to be there yet.

But, as I said, 3 years isn't that big of a deal by that age. 13-16 is probably quite a gap, but at high school you shouldn't have much difficulty creating an adult persona for yourself on the internet.

I think what made Snacks so great is because he was the one mod that was also very much an anon. Moot and his ilk run the place but never really mingled with the people here. At all the cons when people ask moot things like what's his favourite meme and so on he always say he have no idea because he visit the boards like once a month.

Snacks on the other hand was always watching. When a CP thread show up, he would let the OP post all the pictures, fukken saved them AND THEN proceed to ban everyone in the thread.
