I bet it's the route he liked the best as well.
With Shirou not following the same way as him and with Sakura being saved and the mess of the grail fixed and all.
Besides, it's greatily implied that whatever Archer could have gotten from UBW's end doesn't last anyway.

Actually, if heroic spirits exists outside of time and have already experienced an eternity by being called back to time at infinite different places at different times, then the UBW ends should already have happened, infinite times at that.
It might just be so that what was stated to be a chance so close to nothing that the chance could be considered a miracle, might occur too infrequently for him to be able to find those memories among the infinite pool of other memories happening alot more frequently.
