Ok, so it does work differently here. I didn't realise 4chan and iichan code differed anywhere meaningfully.
On the one hand it allows you to polite sage without /a/ users getting angry, on the other its only a matter of time before idiots try and use it for stupid things like "ZOMG so epic 3 post sage combo" without the sage showing up.

on /jp/ sage is not an insult, but not using sage make a lot of the users here treat you like some hooligan. i don't want there to be a diffarance in ANY board on 4chan, even when i do try to contact MOOT; only on /jp/. to save the avarge poster the dillem of either sage posting and pressing 'back' (which can be annoying whan in discussion) or adding 'noko' (which will make it seem as if you bumped in certain cases)
