after playing Chie's route I proposed to my gf...and childhood friend lol, I aspired to have somthing like that in my life....so I did and she said yes :O

Girlfriend is a friend from elementary school days. She reminded me a lot of Chie so it felt right to go after her route.

I did have a rebellious phase where I played guitar and hated people though. That was middle school. Fuck I was a little prick.

Anyway, after middle school and going through my awkward changing phase, I asked her out and lo and behold we are still together now. It's been like...5 years. Damn. Guess I should ask her to marry me if we are still together this long.

Have you played the fan disc or completed the other girls' routes? If not, do that. Following that, play something like Sekien no Inganock, Narcissu, Saya no Uta, Kikokugai -The Cyber Slayer-, or Cross Channel, instead of Edelweiss.

I don't have any qualms with playing the fan disc but... I mean it's not like I don't like the other girls in the storyline, it's just I don't see myself enjoying their routes nearly as much as I did Chie.

However I will take your advice in stride and attempt to play those over Edeilweiss.

I'd like to know what you base that off of though. Your suggestion I mean.

Researched pretty much all of them just no on vndb. Some of them are interesting, for a good read at least. Especially since it seems like 2 out of them are kinetic novels anyway. Regardless, I'll take what he put down to heart and read them as well.

I do love romance stories, however I am not a single minded individual. If you have any suggestions as well, I am more than happy to add them to my ever growing list of VN's I have to get a hold of.

And I already have like 5 recommendation pictures that people always put on boards like these. Most of them are filled with sex though. Don't get me wrong I don't mind it, I just like the romance a hell of a lot more than the endless sex scenes.

I disagree, but whatever. Maybe ef or something like Clannad or Kanon would be a better suggestion? I think the VNs I listed have a more unique approach to romance than Kira Kira or Edelweiss does. Even something like Planetarian would probably be acceptable.

I agree with you on the points you made as far as making a suggestion. I appreciate it and as I said before I will definitely get a hold of them in some way. (It's not hard as I'm sure everyone knows.) In the meantime, however, I do have stockpiled VN's already setup to go. So that's why I was going to start in on Edelweiss next.

I also have Sakura Snow and Symphonic rain in stock as well. I tend to crack these open instead of books nowadays.

Yeah play Kira kira fandisc instead. It's worth to buy even.

OP, just to warn you before you start playing Edelweiss, most of the endings on the main game are SAD ENDs.
And as crazy as it might sound, the two extra routes that you get in its fandisc are much superior than ones in main game.
Also the translation in Edelweiss itself is known to be some of the worst ever. Fandisc's is fine, though.
