I reckon these were good when I played them, and probably one could enjoy them to a degree even nowadays:
Brave Soul, Chain ~ The Lost Footprints, Critical Point, Desire ~Spiral of Perversion~ (Awesome, play EVE burst error after or before it too), Divi-dead, Heart de Roommate, Kana: Little Sister, May Club, Nocturnal Illusion, Phantom of Inferno (awesome if you get used to dvdpg), Private Nurse (I liked the nurse's route, but otherwise it isn't as good), Season of the Sakura, The Sagara Family, Three Sisters Story.

I agree with Desire, Critical Point, Divi-dead and Nocturnal Illusion for story. Goddamn, Desire was like the Ever17 of my teens. Phantom of Inferno has already been played quite a bit by people who liked the anime.

And frankly even nowadays I'm having trouble finding a game letting me to experience the same feelings I had when I first played Desire for example.
