"What's /jp/'s music stream v2, Pyonta-kun?"
Well Billy, it means that we have finally stepped away from Foobar and the crappy plugin. Here's a small list of what is changing:

(hopefully) less crashing
Written in PHP with a proper apache server, thus adding functionality is possible
All the fancy stuff that comes with SAM broadaster: fading,volume management and some pretty nifty microphone support...
Easier for the mods to take over the stream MORE DJ CLUMSY MOE! MORE BOOF! MORE KAGUYA.
Support of japanese characters in the filenames!

As of now, this new system is still in beta. Please keep this in mind. At this moment, it is only possible to upload mp3 files and songs won't be requested automatically. I can switch to the old system anytime if something goes wrong.
Anyway, please give feedback over this new system. Post any error messages you get, post opinions, suggestions, whatever.

Main server holds 5 users. There are a number of relay servers up that automatically redirect you when the main server is full, so don't worry. (yes, it's 5 now. This will assure 0 buffering to everyone on the relay servers)

We are also hosting some kind of contest! As you can see on this new webpage, there's suppose to be a logo at the top left. We need YOU to create a logo for us. If you upload a logo here in the thread and you want us to put it on the website, we'll upload it to the server and make a little rotation between the best ones.
Dimensions should be width: 300, height: 100 (same as 4chan's banners)
Make sure it is somewhat related to /jp/ and music. Feel free to create whatever you like though, just show some of that /jp/ creativity!
There is nothing to win, but fame. If you post a name/trip with the image, we'll make sure your name will be shown somewhere on the website. Feel free to put your signature in the logo.

I probably forgot about something, but who cares. Just enjoy v2 and let us know if something is screwed up. If v2 fails, I'll put the old system back online.

Should be just the filename that matters. There's a few Japanese titles in the "recent" list. The mojibake is likely metatags not in UTF-8, and using some Japanese-specific encoding.

Eh, it might work on some cases, but I'm not sure if it will work well on tracks with names in Japanese. Since it renames all of them and we can't use Japanese on the filenames, are we forced to try romanizing or something like that?

...At least everything we've uploaded so far seems to still be on the playlist, so that's nice.

By the way, searching for the file name I gave it when it asked did NOT work, I had to search for the only part that wasn't in Unicode on the tags. I have no idea of how to search for tags that are completely in Japanese, as the search page crunches it into mojibake.

I am glad there is positive feedback about the new system. I was really REALLY unsure if this was gonna work out. I'll start working on some new functionality soon.

Also, the queue order should now be fixed. It was just as I expected, my SQL query wasn't sorted. Just to get this straight: the queue system is working as intended. You queue something, it is placed at the bottom. Someone else queues something, it is placed at the bottom. The web interface was displaying the queue incorrectly.

Also, I will be implementing a function that will remove all the japanese characters from the tags of a song. SAM seems to hate japanese characters like there is no tomorrow. I can implement that function easily though, so soon all the new uploaded songs will work as intended. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.

From there you need to change the configuration. In the configuration file, find the part that says something like
RelayPort=8000
RelayServer=83.87.212.65

Won't be that exact IP. Currently Pyonta-kun has too many relays attached to his server, so you'll have to get the IP of a current relay server and relay off them.

The port for all the relays are 8000, so that can stay. Don't forget to remove the ; before them, or they'll stay commented out.

Yeah, if you examine the stream with tcpdump, you can see the three-way handshake complete and traffic continues streaming to the user agent/client... That and the initial request and response headers looks fine as far as I know (don't know anything about HTTP-like ICY protocol headers).

On the web UI side, I don't believe Apache is down, but something might have it badly wedged. When I make the HTTP request, the TCP session sets up just fine via the normal SYN, SYN, ACK, ACK, but then when my client issues the HTTP 1.1 GET, the server ACKs the GET and then it just sits there.... I never see a 200 OK, nor any other response code.
