For a second, I thought this was a Persona thread.

This looks like it could be super meta, but in a more--how to say--nerdy way? These characters seem like they'd be more aware of the genre flags they were tripping.

I wonder if the website is supposed to make us wonder which person is going to bite the bullet, or if it means that different routes will determine that (which would be cool).

The protagonist looks like he belongs at a /jp/ meetup, which is a little sad.

I really hope this isn't supposed to be the release date. Wasn't it supposed to get released in summer?

The new work of Sumaga team, this time - without huge tits and stuff like that.
While Sumaga revolved around the heroic aspect, the team took another route this time.
Sumaga had lots of pop-culture references, and it is time to see the "dark side" of it.
The atmosphere is similar to Japanese traditional folklore. The team's working at roughly the same speed as on Sumaga.
Don't expect a lot of gunfighting, even though guns and teenagers with guns will be all over the place.
This will probably get released before Dogura Q (well, duh). That yankee girl is actually pretty cute.
While C;H tried to intimidate us with Toryanse, you can already see that they've switched to Kagome Kagome this time:

In case you didn't know, Dogura Q is this ancient project from the creators of Demonbane: the first time we've heard about it was around 2007-2008. At least it's being made by completely different team, so they can work on two projects simultaneously.

Some stuff to ponder about:

Well, I can see it working in a couple of ways:
-The characters take shots one after another, and when one of them dies, the rest of Akiba hunts for the gun;
-No one wants to have their wishes granted with someone's death as the price ("When one person is cursed, two (five?) graves are dug" and stuff), so they search for the gun and seal it in some way;
-All the characters are in such deep shit that they might just as well die if their wish is not granted right fucking now. Everyone disregards the danger and hunts for the gun.
-Some combination of these ideas.

There's also this "Price for hope" line on the real bullet, and it's certainly a good hint about the whole deal.
