Not true! As long as you slowly peel the package seals and keep all the twist-ties and plastic bumpers you can return them to MIB glory. You just have to be gentle.

I'm sure you could make it appear unopened. Just seal it back up, glue it, and shrink wrap it if you have to.

Anything you purchase immediately loses resell value unless in very limited print, so buying a figure and keeping them in their box seems wasteful, unless the box is really nice. I had my Alter Gwendolyn in the box for over 6 months, it now sits besides my HDTV.

I don't understand why you would try to import a figure from Japan, and then expect to make a profit out of it. The shipping from Japan would eat the cost of any profit you make.
