That was really a superb performance by Japan, especialy if you take their capabilities into account. The Nippon manager out-coached the Dutch but what was lacking in the end was a more skilled goalkeeper. Well and a goal obviously.

I don't intent to brag but I'm an expert on 4chan level to football and that was a great perfomance by Japan. Period. Holland was playing pretty poorly and couldn't create _any_ chances but had to get lucky with that mistake by Jap GK to even score the lead.

Japan would need another player like Honda in his prime with a good foot to create a treat from the distance and also a skilled goal-keeper on European level.
