Does Angel Beats go here since it's a KEY series?

Anyway, what are your thoughts on it?

I think it's going to turn out to be one big computer simulation like in Sh15uya. When they "Move on" they're actually waking up from a coma. None of them are actually dead, but their memories are retroactively patched to make them believe as such(of course - you can't remember yourself dying anyway, and it often takes time for their memories to come act).

Most of the characters had traumatic circumstances rather than a traumatic death, though their death was usually quite nasty too.

If they believe they're dead, they don't fully realise it's a simulation so don't try to escape it. Or something silly like that.

I haven't watched 12 yet but I'm disappointed with the direction the series went overall. Still, it was enjoyable, and I'd probably play a VN if one were made.

How can they know if they died? Wouldn't the last thing they remember be what happened just before they lost conciousness? Nobody there actually knows they died.
