Seriously? I remember most dialogue being voiceovered in RF 1 + 2.

...which was irritating because American VAs are pretty much the last thing you want to hear and completely ruin games where you can't turn them off.

Anyone tried both the English version and Japanese version of one of the games who can tell how much better the Japanese voices are?

I still suck at Japanese, but I might just focus on studying a few farm related kanji and try out the Japanese version if it's worth it.

It would work okay if they tweaked some other stuff, like had friendship points decline much slower or if it's effectively the same as before, there's just a 30 second or so gap where they wander from one spot to the next to putter around, but it could also very easily be fucked up and just be outright frustrating.

You cannot fuck up your gift giving schedule because their icons appear on the map. Realtime and moving.
Items won't disappear when placed/thrown on the ground too, for days, even in dungeons.

And when it rain, everybody just go indoors and go out when sun is out again. Weather system is a blessing for huge farms.
