I agree with you but I'm not him. Apparently he's been MIA (missing in action) since January. But to his defense English wasn't his first language and he coded the Visual Novel engine from scratch. Just the fact that he was able to do all of that is impressive.

And here I thought this was a proper doujin/indie game and not some aspie VN with stolen sprites and music.

My guess is that he was just testing out his VN engine he coded in C#. He probably has no intention of doing this project by himself, hence the reason why he said he was looking for writers. Some of the best doujin soft makers work in groups. And the few that are manly enough to do everything by themselves end up with terrible art or gameplay. ZUN to name a few.
