The coloring of the hair looks fairly nice. I always hate the way cosplay wigs look horrible, but hair color like that seems like an okay transition. The "ears" of Saya's hair weren't done well at all.

Y'know, if 2D were transition to 3D, I'd actually like if they looked more CG than like real girls. You know that Vocaloid concert for Miku day? That was a pretty nice representation of how I imagined 2D looking like in 3D. You can't just throw makup and hair dye on a real person or anything, they need to keep their colors and anatomy (different than real women), as well as their facial expressions. Maybe not the super distorted expressions, but you know, the stuff that still looks normal, but would be pretty hard for an actual person to pull off. Saya has quite a few of these actually.

What are these Miku concerts some video made in 3d being projected onto a screen or is there something more to it to make it look more 3d? I'd like to see how these concerts look like when you get a bad place and have to view it slightly from the side or when you are really close to the screen and looking at it upwards.

I forgot the technology behind this. Apparently it was something like multiple projectors shooting images on a...clear box? If you look at the image from a certain angle, you'd see it as you would a real person at that angle, since there are multiple projectors. The clear thing itself is centered in the stage where you can't get directly under it. In other words, the stage is designed so you don't get to see a flattened image. Apparently, according to those who attended, this looked a lot more real in person than on camera. The video didn't do the concert any justice, it's an entirely different experience witnessing it in person.
