I agree, the only thing that keeps me from suggesting her though is I don't think there's any way it could really be done well. I mean, what would you do? Allow one player to see both characters inside a blob of darkness, but not allow the other one to? Treat it like Reisen's fields, allowing Rumia to graze melee attacks or something like that? It'd be hard to make her very original, even though it'd be really original if implemented well

Well, whenever i pictured rumia in a Touhou fighting game i always thought that she would have a small field of darkness around her along with a small area of visibility so you can see incoming danmaku which are really close,making it impossible to see where the danmaku she fires would be coming from, then one of her spell cards would cause the field to expand till it covers the arena for a period of time, so both players would have no idea where each other's danmaku will hit except when its too late. Thought it would fit, since Rumia supposedly has bad eyesight even in her own darkness blot

Yukari already does that. I mentioned Nue with Kogasa as a special spellcard move. She falls from the top of the screen (or the side) with a huge SURPRISE! grin and effect, and if it hits, takes away 1/2 total health. Then she looks sad and flies away.

Thing is, you could still fight once activating the ability and she could appear anywhere between immediately after casting to having a 10 second delay. You wouldn't know when she was going to hit...she could miss, but a blocked hit would still do a shield break and do a significant amount of damage.

Why would anyone want Kaguya? Seriously?
