I just wish I had an actual mother. For the better part of my formative years, I didn't have one, because my -real-mother had a complete nervous breakdown.

Now she's zombified from taking nearly a thousand anti-depressant medications, among other things. I don't even recognize her anymore. I remember the strong, capable woman from my youth, and I want to cry.

Those are the black people that smoke crack. They're different.

I just smoke weed. So I lash out at the world by being butthurt on the internet. It takes less energy, which suits a stoner like me perfectly.

Besides, I don't have time for much else, in between ensuring that my mother eats, sleeps, takes her medication daily, driving her to her doctor's appointments, picking up her medication, buying food, supplies, and other important things.

All of that kind of bites into your schedule. And leaves you spending a goodly amount of your time at home.
I have to pick up the slack, because my father's response to all this is to bury himself in his work, and avoid coming home unless it's to sleep.
