So why not? I think this is because children have that unique sense of curiosity of the unknown. They love to explore and if something is new or never been seen before, then children will be the first to check it out. Children don't come with prejudices already built into them, they make judgements on what THEY see, hear and touch, NOT by making judgements based on society's preconceptions.

This is in contrast to adults, they fear what they don't know, and their lives are the same old thing, day in day out. Since most adults need to work for a living, and since work itself is the ultimate example of "the same old thing", this only reinforces the "same old thing instead of something new and different" mentality.
