Well I don't like to drink alone, and lately that's all the time.

Also it's expensive.

I don't really like the taste and I feel like shit when I'm drunk. Getting high is much more enjoyable.

Except for the occasional glass of cider on some special occasion, I don't drink. Never been drunk etc

My body is quite fragile, and have problems with dehydration, plus I easily get ridiculously affected by caffeine (headache, my body stats shaking, I get nervous, hyper sensitive etc) so I've just decided alcohol probably isn't for me.

Drinking always seems so much fun in 2D, but IRL drunk people are just annoying.

I think alcohol is just a social tool used by people who wants to be social even if they're not. Some of you are unsociable outside the internet, so you shouldn't drink, but it's also used as a medicine for depression. And a lot of you suffer from this illness.

That's why I wonder what do you think about it...

Personally, I don't like it. I always try to not to drink, successfully. I want to have my head always at full capacity, and I want to keep out from the problems that alcohol causes to you.

I drink. I genuinely enjoy the taste of alcohol. Nothing like making a cocktail yourself or drinking a glass of good brandy after a meal. Or having a frosty beer on a hot day. It's nice to have someone join you, but not essential. Yang was right, it is humanity's friend.

It is expensive and if you're going to drink some of the cheaper stuff it's better not to drink at all. Drinking just to get drunk or binge drinking is a waste and best left for over compensating frat boys. If I ever met a fellow anon irl I'd be glad to have a cup of whatever together.

I've only had a few sips of alcohol in my life. It's fucking tastes horrible. Yet, the people around me demand that I drink it. They even tried to put beer in my cola, hoping I wouldn't notice it and proof I'm a hypocrite. They have yet to succeed.
These people also keep telling me that the beer I've tried is horrible and should try other brands. It all tastes the same ffs...This whole thing is starting to piss me off. Why do I have to drink beer or wine or whatever. They even mix their drinks with cola or apple juice, or else the taste is bad. What's wrong with regular cola? Really, I don't see the point. People are just drinking to get drunk, but the next day they cry because their head hurts. Baaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I enjoy alcohol. I like the taste, I like being drunk. Playing a couple rounds of a game and then falling asleep after having a couple drinks is lovely.

The problem is, I've been broke lately, so I've been drinking pretty much rubbing alcohol that gives me massive stomach problems the day after, so I haven't had a good drink in a while.

I drink pretty regularly but then, I'm troubled.

I drink water, tea, tomato juice, and on occasion coffee and sodas. But alcohol? Every alcohol I've tried tastes terrible, even the so-called highly quality, expensive stuff. Even if it did taste good, I always like to keep my brain working as well as it can, so it's still off-limits. I'm just dandy at socializing but I don't enjoy pointless socialization, just sitting around drunk and wasting time, and people always start acting like idiots when they've had too much to drink.

I used to be a complete drunkard when I was in college. I could hold my liquor better than anyone I knew- I never once puked from drinking, even after ridiculous shit like 8 pints of beer and jaeger bombs, etc. I'm not a fatass, either, I'm 6 foot 2 and weighed 175 at the time.

However, I became a complete moron. I would often say the weirdest shit, hit on the ugliest girls, piss on things I shouldn't be pissing on, and generally being a fuckface. To some people this was hilarious, to others it was unbearably offensive. Getting drunk with me became a very polarizing thing.

I came to the realization that getting wasted like that was stupid, not just because of the hangover, but because of the dumb, immature shit you would inevitably find yourself in.

So now I'll have a beer or two with dinner, or two fingers of a 12 year single malt whiskey with a friend, but never anything more than that. Getting a little buzzed is fine, it takes the edge off of things.

I love beer. I sometimes drink wodka + juice mixes, but I can't stomach most other stuff while I'm still sober.

I don't know. The maximum I drank was a glass of beer. To tell you the truth, I like how barley tastes. When I drank it, I started to feel a little bit cheerful, but then I was looking to other's glasses and I started to want more. Anyway, I could controlled myself and I didn't drank anything else.

I'm an alcoholic. My thoughts on drinking are that too many people use it as an excuse to do stupid shit because "Sorry, man, I was sooo wasted," and that being an alcoholic is expensive. I sort of like being drunk, but only if I'm drinking with someone else. I've tried drinking alone because of boredom and such, and it just feels pointless, it's not fun at all.

I also tend to keep my common sense whenever I'm drunk. Sure, I spit out bad jokes all the time and generally talk to much, but I've never done anything that could be called stupid even if I've had the opportunity for it.

How people's actions are affected by alcohol is in my experience different from every individual. I know people who still act sober even if they have been drinking a lot, and people who get really stupid ideas after a few drinks.
It all varies from person to person.

I can sort of understand why people are scared of drinking though.

I've only drank a few times since turning 21 a few months ago. Too expensive and I enjoy my hobbies more when sober. I used to drink a lot more in high school, back when I had friends. Everyone in my immediate family is an alcoholic though so I probably should stay away from the stuff.

Recovering addict here. Alcohol in the hands of someone who doesn't suffer from the disease of addiction or alcoholism is fine. Unfortunately a lot of lives are royally screwed before the person suffering realizes or is willing to admit their problem.

Prefer getting high, but will drink socially to make me less anxious at get-togethers.

I like cheap beer and menthol cigarettes.

I drink alcohol maybe once every so many months (because I'm never in a fitting social situation).

Though a couple of times I've drowned my sorrows with rum, alone.
