well power IS an issue. also trying to get a limb of some kind to move fluidly is a pain. trying to auto balance something is hard enough with out large recoil from a large caliber weapon. after some fail small scale tests I've stuck to mostly designing on paper and doing the math. the closest thing I've came too that would semi-work was one biped design with skinny long arms, and short stocky legs(almost the size of the core body) and putting heads on these things is just plain stupid. another design that could move on multiple terrain and be pretty mobile was a six legged design that resembled a tank in most aspects. also tried designing armor that is more efficient than tank armor in stopping high caliber rounds and explosions. with very little fruit bearing.

I'm thinking of just quitting, trying to make a practical /m/ is rather a dumb idea, and putting my efforts into designing other shit. like a round I devised that I believe can pierce most armor plating, even at low caliber. though I've yet to test it out since I've wasted a lot of money on tools, supplies, and my small scale tests.

It is probably possible using current technology to put MORE BULLETS out per second than your average lunatic danmaku. Clipsize can also be reasonable(700 bullets per clip is reasonable amirite?) especially if you have a way to eject and switch out clips at at rate of least 1 every 1-30 seconds(there's a machine gun out there that loads up with clips and fires a whole clip all at once).

Only problem is that most bullets move so fast they wouldn't look like a danmaku without tracers.

Also I haven't counted all the bullets on the screen, but it's probably around 100 bullets on the screen at a time for most danmaku.

as for autoblancing, yes it's breeze for something that's not humanoid. but designing something to hand inertia of accelerating, decelerating, taking hits from tank and RPG fire, and all while firing weapons of their own. yes I can get rid of the arm (infact most of my designs are without arms) but on the most effective design, it had retractable arms. as for the simulated mecha, a lot of those things are impracticable in battle, and the materials needed to make them practical are either non-existant or better used for something else.

it would be easier designing power armor. but I want something that would strike fear in the enemy while dominating the battle.
