Honestly with no jokes, I don't have a girlfriend for the following reasons:

1. Too lazy and sickly to go anywhere besides work and home, thus never have the opportunity. The opportunity certainly doesn't arise at work because I'm a darkened cube dwelling software monkey.

2. For some reason women automatically run away from me anyway, which I find odd seeing I'm not fat, and toothless... I suppose my face could be ugly, but I don't know. I like to joke that I'm cursed.

3. I'm really hard to please. My taste in women is pretty particular and I like the people around me to have at least a basic understanding of the sciences.

4. I don't really feel like wasting my money on things other than personal entertainment for myself, which ties back into point #1. I could imagine being bitched at for never going out and just playing games all day, and I wouldn't put up with that crap. I also wouldn't put up with some split tail being judgmental of my perverted hobbies.

I'm pushing through a really frustrating program in college that requires a lot of concentration. If they don't throw me out after my last semester (which I'm hoping to god they don't) I'm looking at 15 hour days of classes from next month into August. I don't know if I would have time for a girlfriend, at least not one outside of the program.

I make friends easily but there must be something profoundly unattractive about me, too, because no girl has wanted to go out with me in like eight years. Most of the girls in the program are already taken, and the ones that aren't are Asians who stay in tight-knit groups and are a little hard to approach.

And I don't really care that much right now. All I really want is to get through college, get a nice easy job in some pharmacy somewhere, live independently, and play some video games. I can join a dating site or something if I start getting lonely from all that, but I've got another three years before then at least.
