The burden of "making sense" is supposed to fall to the player, not the game, right? The whole point of the series is that you need to actively make "your own sense" via intepretation and logic.

It's one thing to leave things to one';s interpretations, and another to present jumbled scenes and non clear-narrative, where even if you figure out events, there is still no way you can 100% figure characterization, proper atmosphere etc.

I'd like to see the revelation that in Episode 4, when Ange had her final confrontation with Kasumi and summoned the stakes to kill the guards, that was really just Amakusa sniping at them from a distance and blowing their heads open and they only thought it was magic.

I've never bothered with Umineko, but I might watch the anime, I just can't really be bothered starting another incredibly long VN, when I'm already only midway reading another 2. Is it worth watching the anime, or will it just spoil everything and leave me wondering what kind of monstrosity was I just watching?
