But really, it is a subject that could use some exploration. Rance is a pretty rough fellow, so girls being "tsun" to him doesn't necessarily mean they are tsun, it's just the natural response to his brashness. This isn't a problem with modern tsundere, since it becomes obvious very soon from the frequent tsun/dere switches. The classic types are harder to handle, though.

Ran starts out with a very negative impression, but ends up in love (if you go that path). She shows some light tendencies towards the end, but I wouldn't call her a tsundere overall. Omachi is also problematic, she doesn't really have a dere mode except when the grief of losing Masamune hits. Noir is easier to lock down on, but even she could just be conflicted by greed (for food) and aversion (to Rance).
