Considering Reimu's placing in all the popularity polls, this is nowhere near anything that resembles an accurate statement.

I like her.

I don't quite see where the Reimu being a bitch wave is coming from. In my opinion, of all the character arcs she strikes me as the most sincere one in the act of exterminating whatever unfortunate being blocking her line of sight; at least giving it some feeling and a sense of cause. That's just my impression made out over the years; truth is that I didn't like her at first, rather rooting for Team Marisa any day (reversed from where I stand today).

Superman is the "main" character of DC and is overpowered. Most people don't like the "main" characters especially if they're the Author's own love child and powerful without even trying.

Also same reason why nobody on /a/ will say Sailor moon is their favorite sailor scout.

Considering Reimu's in first place in popularity polls, I'd say either a lot of people like her or a few people like her a LOT.

Personally, I prefer Sanae as far as mikos go, but that's mostly because of her scenario in hisoutensoku and Sanae B storyline in UFO.

Superman is a boring character who got his powers for free and never bothers to come up with creative uses for them.

Batman is a somewhat more interesting character who obtained his "powers" by training his mind and body and privately funding technological research. Many of his victories come from creative solutions which rely on research and planning.

A Mary Sue is a character extremely heavily favored by the author to the point of ridiculousness. Nothing bad ever happens to Mary Sues, and they succsed at everything they try.

Also, Reimu is a bitch. Half the time she can't even justify her actions. Sanae's just as bad, beating up poor little umbrella girls way beyond just defeating them in a fair fight. Marisa...can't really say anything bad about other other than the fact that every other girl she meets gets added into her harem.
