I want to finally start learning the JP language seriously. Been watching Animu and J-dramas for years but always depend on the subs. Thinking of using Rosetta stone to start off, and if I'm dedicated enough take a 2yr course at my local CC.

Need some reviews and input from other Rosetta Stone users. Basically if it's worth it, how intuitive it is, and will it get most of the job done?

You could at least look at the front page before asking stupid questions.

R-stone is garbage

/lang/ is a pile of shit and anything related to Japanese is either quickly bumped off or screamed weeaboo at

Sorry, I tend not to treat 4chan as a regular forum. Seeing as there are mostly no topic titles or search feature that I am aware of, threads get pushed off the front, and would rather not read every post page 0-15

There is a search feature. In fact, it archives everything ever posted on /jp/. Here: http://archive.easymodo.net/cgi-board.pl/jp/ use the text search bar.
