I have no idea what any of this drama is, but I'll say that, in my opinion, if a company is not going to release a VN outside of Japan, I see no issue whatsoever with fans translating and releasing it. If people want something bad enough, they'll get it, and if the company isn't going to capitalize on this, then tough shit for them.
