Damnit, /jp/, this is a dilemma.
I got the thought of playing Kira Kira again before I play Curtain Call, but this might be a bad idea on second thought.
What say you?

>> No.5023989

Not a bad idea at all I think. I reread it last week while waiting for CC, skipped most of the actual "route" parts of the girls. But rereading the band adventure is always enjoyable.

>>5023989
I thought that perhaps rereading the VN would somehow make CC more boring, because it's "more of the same".

>> No.5024030

Depends on how much you loved the original I guess.

>> No.5024045

anyone have a walkthrough for curtain call?

>> No.5024051

A walkthrough is irrelevant. There are four choices in the game, which are just silly ones which don't have an impact on anything.

Oh, okay. Thanks.

So not even slightly different reactions?

>> No.5024088

I don't know. I actually played it once on my phone and then the proper version on my PC and it barely stood the test of a second replay... but if you want to refresh for the fandisc that is perfectly understandable.

There are pretty much no VNs that do

Nah, quite a few are enjoyable to read at least a second time(if they have multiple routes, seeing each character's development makes certain scenes make more sense or just seen in a different eye)

Looks like the Lyrics for the ED theme went up:

Finished the game. First half is epic, with tons of CGs, awesome development fitting for musical comedy, and effective baww moments. Souta is awesome, and Kazuki is shining.

Second half kinda drags with trying to tie every subplots there is in the franchise, with boring 3rd POV narrative. Reused bgs and bgm are nice at the start, but it starts to get boring quickly. Translation mistakes here and there doesn't bug me much, but they're still there.

I wish MG would allow PayPal. I'd be glad to pay 25 bux to support em and for the terrific experience.

It's shit.

The one thing I thought was odd was just how little screentime the old cast had outside of Murakami. It didn't feel right.

>> No.5026900

>>5026888
Well, it's a spinoff, not a true sequel.

>> No.5026918

Still reading the first half. Souta's lack of restraint kinda annoys me.

And you might be right OP, I may not be enjoying this as much if I read KiraKira like a day before starting this.

And a HONKA HONKA OF BURNIN' LOVE

UNNNNNNHHHHHHHH

Just playing through Kira Kira once was enough of a chore.

Not enough Chie-nee. Don't care.

Her short hair looks awful, anyway.

Who cares. She's still the best.

Alright I finished it, that was pretty damn awesome in the end. Murakami was so awesome there that tears swelled up my eyes. I somehow disliked Souta's point of view though, however he got a bit better in the second scenario.

Anyone knows whether the OST is uploaded anywhere? I'd love to get my hands on it!
