I'm convinced of not paying more than $20 for something through digital distribution. If it were a distribution service like Steam I would not mind either, because you can re-download your game at any time.

Seeing this come out has finally given me the drive to finish Kira Kira. After Chie and Sarina's routes I put it on the back-burner, but I blazed through Kirari's route last night. About to read the true end now.

From what I understand, aside from a few exceptions, most of Mangagamer's translations haven't made a profit yet. If you want physical copies, you're just going to have to suck it up and buyfag some stuff now so that they actually have the cash to expand their operations.

Plain and simple, if people don't support them they won't be around much longer. It's be a pity, because compared to JAST they actually listen to their customers. They reversed their decision to censor Soul Link, and have made big improvements to their translation quality.

Do you even have to play Kirari's true end for Curtain Call?

To my knowledge, although there is a limit on re-activations, you can ask for more after using them up. It's only a problem if you do something suspicious, such as use them all in one day.

Although it is the same whether you torrent it or buy it, what you're paying for is the work that went into translating it. Sure, they still have the occasional typos, but that's what you'll find in all VN translations.

Right, I don't know the status of any nukige, as I haven't been following them, but Edelweiss is currently being completely retranslated. I don't know of any plans to fix HinataBokko, but that probably isn't successful enough to justify it. That being said, I think that MG should either fix the translations for the first few games they released, or take them down entirely. If someone were to unknowingly buy one of these games, it might mislead them into believing that reflects their overall product quality.
