You pretty much have to make the mask yourself or find someone who can do it for you. All the mask the Japanese use are custom or are maid by the one or two companies that make them. Build Up Studio is one Japanese maker I know of.

Thank you. Option one mightn't be so bad if there's a tutorial out there, but I can't read moonrunes well. I do not know if there's a translated guide to making heads.

I can see how it can be labor intensive and lot of skill needed. For around $2500 a person can get full size doll, head to toe. Customize facial features, hair, and clothing. Full anatomy which even has more labor and skilled involved. I'm trying to dig up the site. They have one called realdoll.com, but that's usa company. Not anime related.

But the Build Studio does have one of the better looking anime mask. While Other one's look a bit creepy.

Which reminds me. A while back, some Anon was trying to get a costume shop (run by a husband and wife) to get into kigurumi. He wanted to know something about how the masks were made or something like that. I'm curious as to how that turned out.

I would imagine you would need some sort of character/model sheet. A full turnaround so you get a good measurement before building like a blue print. I have no idea what materials would be needed. But something non-toxic since a person would in close contact?

Yes they are pre-made. Without that body suit its not Kirurumi. They are called zentai.
