She's not even listed on the industry guest list yet.

It'll be one of two scenarios. Her name will continue to be used as a lure for other Japanese acts to come in and then she will quietly pull out within the last two weeks or so.

The sugar-sweet thing, bright colors and all. That didn't really 'feel' like her to me...for example, I liked Mou Hitotsu no Ai a lot more. Of course, that's not to say I didn't like Watashi lol, Aichan looked as incredible as always...just was kinda put off by the photography style in some places...

I think one of the best things about Wani PB's are their ability to put together fresh themes and different shooting styles and locations.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean about it not being "her" but I recall some very Ai-chan shots with her jumping around in the park and burger and donuts shots were great.

Sayu's newest PB is another great example of changing things up, its so much different than her all natural look and they found ways to shoot her in different angles.

Its also why I'm really interested in how Gaki-san's Hawaii PB is going to look.

I agree, again I didn't dislike the photobook. It's hard to describe, it wasn't really the locations or the stuff she did for the shoots that bugged me...just the color editing, I guess? That super-sweet melt-your-eyes color scheme didn't feel like her to me, way too 'loud' when she's definitely more the 'quiet/soft' type.

Is Koharu model worthy? She seems to know how to pose extremely well and wears very pretty clothes, I don't see how it is so far fetched a concept.

Yea I do think they did research their spots out for each girl rather well. But Gaki-san's announcement seemed a spur of the moment kind of a casual request and a gift was granted.

There is the one site that Rika uses for her blog but its not very good and is rather clunky and entries are broken up. I'm sure there are plenty other ones but they probably don't have the reader/follower base the main sites have.

Nah, skin doesn't bother me. It's the awkward pose combined with the hair style, the make-up, and the Why? lighting up the ass. I don't think you comprehend how sophisticated that pose actually is and I was complementing on all those attributes put together creates that feeling, don't parse my words. The cover pose demonstrates the raw beauty of Ai-chan, her skin, features, and gaze. The point isn't it try to make her boobs look bigger at all. I'd say that occurs more in the cover you posted by blurring her cleavage.
And besides the cover you posted their is just sunlight to the extreme and lots of blurriness around her body. I admit her face and hair are great on that cover but its not as stripped down as the new cover.

And don't forget that the larger image of the new cover is not an official scan or anything, its been stretched.

Photobooks and idols kind of go hand in hand in Japan. I can understand people who don't gravitate them for various reasons but I think there may be some underlying issues they may have with that industry first most instead of those involved in it.

I still think that Wani books puts out higher quality books and with the Musume girls as subjects it results in a really beautiful combination.

And complaining about image touching in a modeling area of the industry is just kind of misguided. If people wanted all natural fashion magazines they'd find them.

If you want to see how it can be tastefully down look at our girl Ai-chan's releases and then look at what the akb camp is churning out. They have no qualms about selling the skin aspects of a picture.

Didn't really look at them that thoroughly, was in a bit of a rush and only gave the Aichan/Mano section a good look (which was, by the way, amazing~~). What I saw of the other stuff looked nice...although Aichan's section was the only really pic-centered one from what I recall. Lots of interviews and the like.

And on the art/sophisticated/etc thing...Aichan's a beautiful girl and I think the new cover looks great, plain and simple. No need to justify or complicate beauty~
