How hard is it to do things in this game? Is everything done with mods or is there some sort of select options in the game for stuff? (e.g. is there a thing for making text bubbles or do you have to mod in the bubble, words and all?)

How big is just the core game?

it's done almost entirely with mods, but you have to pose and select everything (including the mods) yourself
The core game is 1.7 gigs and all the mods are now around 38GB

Not that hard.

Essentially, you just download a mod and extract it into your 3d_custom_girl/arcs/ folder. Then you load up the game and go to the slot the mod's in to use it.

The only thing is, the engine's been out for so long that there's literally hundreds of mods.

You can use a program called TDCGExplorer to manage them. It lets you preview them before you extract them into your mods folder and is linked with a mods reference database.

As for the mods for bodies themselves, you can either download a mod pack or go to

I can run the game, but only with the default shit.

If the mods are on one drive and the installation's on another then yeah, they're not going to load. They have to be in the arcs folder in order for the game to recognize them.

If I understand what you're saying the problem is then your solution would be to install the game onto the drive that has your mods. Then you just make sure they're in your arcs folder.

The game doesn't even have to be installed properly in order to run. You just double click ObsDX9.exe, it checks to make sure there's a /cursor/ and /arcs/ folder, and if it finds any mods in the /arcs/ folder, it loads them.

So basically, when you go directly to D:\Program Files\TechArts3D\３Ｄカスタム少女\ and run the program from there, and when there are mods in your D:\Program Files\TechArts3D\３Ｄカスタム少女\arcs\ folder, none of the mods will load? Just confirming what you said before, but as it relates to paths.
