Saya is pretty good but it feels rushed. Short and there's dropped plot points that it seemed at one point, they were going to lead to somewhere, but never did.

in terms of story telling, it may seem exciting the first few times you play a decent VN (like ever17, saya no uta etc) but after that you get to see it's not really that varied.
since the aim of it is to be somewhat visual, the usual approach is direct, you see what's directly in front of you, get shit tons of description of it, get to see the MC's monologue, and sometimes you change your POV but that's about it. complicated storytelling techniques are not really present nor preferred.

Ever17 sets the standard for VN storytelling.
Not because of how good it is, but by how much it relies on being a VN.
It wouldn't work as well if it were in another medium.
But Saya on the other hand is doing fine in comic book format.

I have read it, not the entire thing because it is boring shit, but enough to know it is boring shit. The writing of the dialogue, characters and scenarios are all shit that has been done a dozen times before. The jokes are typical unfunny shit aswell.

I want to play this game so bad. I have it but whenever I runt he file I get a damn black screen and where ever I search no one has an answer. So I still haven't played it.

Right, after playing a game for 20 odd hours and not liking it I should keep playing something I don't enjoy. That makes total sense.
