Hey /jp/ Its been a while since I've posted. Not too long ago, I had a lucid dream about touhou. The only thing I could remember from my dream was both Keine and Kaguya enjoying a tea party outside of SDM gate. But this post isn't about anon sharing his lucid dreams about touhou, but something else. Not only I’ve had an amazing lucid dream, a number of questions have spurred up in my mind. The most recurring questions of all hammering me is,
What if Gensokyo wasn't a village of human/youkai co-existing together? What if Reimuu was no miko and the Hakurei shrine was some tourist hotspot? Better yet, what if Gensokyo never existed? I know it may sound stupid but what if? Even if Gensokyo was a bizarre idea made up by a drunk, I can sympathize because he created touhou so he could make a living and continue his otaku/drinking lifestyle.
What if every fan of touhou: the gamers, doujinists, fan-artists, role-players, writers, even D & D people simply want a sense of belonging to a community? What if we are already in this community? What if we eliminated every social activity and people in our lives so we could live in this fantasy?
What have we done to ourselves /jp/? We’re losing grip to our real lives. We are letting something that’s not real taking over. We are living in a dream anonymous.

The great thing about having a lucid dream is not having it, is telling everyone online that I did.

Anyone who dreams of touhou is ronery. So yes.

Hey Its been a while since I've attended church. Not too long ago, I had a lucid dream about God. The only thing I could remember from my dream was both Jesus and his disciples enjoying a tea party outside of heaven's gate. But this post isn't about a Christian sharing his lucid dreams about God, but something else. Not only I’ve had an amazing lucid dream, a number of questions have spurred up in my mind. The most recurring questions of all hammering me is,
What if Heaven wasn't a village of God and man together? What if Jesus was no savior and the city of Jerusalem was some tourist hotspot? Better yet, what if God never existed? I know it may sound stupid but what if? Even if Christianity was a bizarre idea made up by a drunk, I can sympathize because he created this religion so he could make a living and continue his social rebel/drinking lifestyle.
What if every members of Christianity: the laity, nuns, monks, priests, even those out of touch with their faith simply want a sense of belonging to a community? What if we are already in this community? What if we eliminated every social activity and people in our lives so we could live in this fantasy?
What have we done to ourselves, Christians? We’re losing grip to our real lives. We are letting something that’s not real taking over. We are living in a dream.

All I can say all everyone is this,

Anon needs to balance fantasy and reality in their lives. Don't let a story persuade you into believing that there is another dimension full of all-female youkai/human/beings. What I say can be said for most things like sports, Science Fiction and even religion. But never let a fantasy take over you, even if real life sucks no matter what.
