My point is that there is a huge difference in both the inherent value and motives of a thread that is open for all drawfags to fill requests and create content, and a thread that is designed to single out a single drawfag, by name, and stroke his ego and feed him attention. The former is a great use of board space, the latter is a shameful, despicable activity that has no place on an anonymous imageboard.

The general problem with trying to have such a thread on /jp/ is:

HURR MY OPINION > YOUR OPINION

People can't keep their opinion for themselves for 5 minutes. If they see something they don't like, they shit all over it. When they make threads about something they like they expect people to like it - only to be shat all over. You're creating an endless circle of threadshitting, you know?
