It's a little more trouble to begin with, as you'll need to draft up a resume, but once you're in, life's easy.

The hardest thing about maintaining a job and a normal life for a NEET is that these wouldn't be problems if you weren't a NEET to begin with.

Keeping steady hours is something we don't do very well because we are just too lazy and unmotivated.

Seriously, I suggest working as a stocker at a store like walmart or a smaller grocery store. People who work late-night stock are awesome cuz they don't give a shit and you will gain confidence by being given a definite goal (stock all this stuff) and then achieving it by a set time (morning).

It's not one of those things you can imagine happening while you live with your parents, unless you happen to still be in high school.

Having roommates, unless they're WAY out of your age and peer group, will tend to bring a normalfag influence into your life. Being around other people, even if not entirely by choice, gives you a social anchor or guidepost which helps you socialize effectively with people.

Also, the prospect of being able to bring a girl home and not have to hope you can hide your parents or the embarrassment of living at home from her opens up the possibility, which makes you more confident.

And that makes you more likely to pull it off in the first place. Girls aren't as tough as you might think.
