Foobar can play the .tta files but if you feel like converting them to .FLAC or whatever for your MP3 player/Media player of choice then Foobar also provides an easy convert tool. Takes about a minute to convert the albums over to FLAC.

I think it has the best combination of battle system, gameplay mechanics(crafting etc), characters and interaction.
It has an interesting setting as well.
The only issues are the slow plot(though the climax was quite decent) and the soundtrack(most themes are OK, few are great).

I've listened to the Hymmnos albums quite a lot but tended to dislike any tracks by Haruka Shimotsuki as I'm not really fond of her voice. However after playing through AT1 for the past few days her tracks are starting to grow on me, especially after running through Crescent Chronicle with EXEC_LINCA/. playing.

Actually this is one of my favourite tracks from the AT3 Hymmnos albums. It's a nice slow song and it's just sung really well. I'm still slightly disappointed that Akiko Shikata wasn't linked to Finnel though.. having her linked to the generic moeblob and putting out trash like EXEC_EP=NOVA/. makes me really disappointed.

Only the origin Reyvateils live long lives, I believe. Normal Reyveteils (including artificial ones like Misha) just live normal life spans. Installing to them however may reduce their life span since it's mentioned in AT1 that it's basically like poison to them. I may be wrong though, I've only played AT1 so far and haven't really looked into it much.

I think this is correct. I recall Shurelia mentioning something about the origins being crated for a purpose and that is to be the administrator to the tower. As long as the tower remains functional then so will the origin.

I wouldn't really call Chronicle Key-induced aging normal. But no, Betas typically live about 150 years, and third generations don't live long after their Reyvateil gene manifests without Diquility.

Incidentally, in both cases, Reyvateils basically stop aging once the gene manifests itself.

Excuse the possibly stupid question but where does EXEC_HARVESTASYA/. play? I'm pretty sure it's from AT1 (since the start of it is the same as the Singing Hill theme that plays in the intro) but unless I'm going blind it's not on any of the OST's or Hymmnos albums. I thought it might be an unused song but I can't see it in my Akiko Shikata discography and it also has the proper EXEC_ tag on it too so I doubt it.

If you want to follow everyone's advice and go for the 3rd (and better) reyvateil, don't dive past any of the other two's level 5 cosmospheres or you'll be locked into that particular reyvateil's ending. It'll be pretty clear when the big decision is, as it will ask you if you want to be with them or something like that.

My favorite part of AT2 was the synthesis between Skycat and Jakuri. Shit had me giggling a bit. I kinda wanted to woo Skycat as well..

It feels so awkward to play AT1 after Playing AT2.
And I miss the combat sistem.

Cloche dive attempt 1 was a complete failure, but that was obviously scripted. Still failed on the second attempt, not sure if that was my fault or not, at least I still got a song out of it.

Getting more used to the new battle system, but having to keep track of 2 reyvateils at once is kind of a pain. I see they built on the new 2 reyvateil system with 'Sync Level' though, that's kind of cool.

I just noticed, but mint block and milkry forest's locations on the 2D map on the right, don't match their location on the 3D map on the left. This bothers me greatly.

Spica runs the pharmacy in Enna, actually. Mir and Shurelia will show up later. There are some references to AT3 characters, too.

Did you just start? If so, you'll have one join your party later on, you'll have others make an appearance later on, and AT1 characters will be mentioned in some character conversations.

About the Plasma Bell encounters, there's a rare encounter there where you can get, I think, the best thing for Shurelia. Also it should be the best area for Leaf from battles.

The second is basically a backup singer. If you only have 1 Reyvateil (happens quite often during the story) you'll only charge the boost meter at half speed. Also, later on, you can have them sing dual magics. That's what those waves on the bottom are for; Down attacks bring them into sync.

While redoing the last few bits because I want to see Misha's ending I couldn't help but get curious at this scene again. Leard says he'll be staying alive to see his grandkids which causes the reaction in this screenshot. Is there a way to save screenshots in .jpg with GSdx? I was using ZeroGS fine in AT1 but it's being a little screwy with AT2 (screen randomly flickering with FPS dropping down to 20 or so) so I'm using GSdx now. Also there seem to be random boxes appearing on some of the portraits using GSdx that never appeared with ZeroGS so is there a fix for that? Using the latest plugins if that makes any difference..

I haven't played AT3 so excuse the possibly stupid question but how exactly do the different personalities work? A toukousphere explains that the Reyvateils in AT1 and 2 generate clothes via song magic but how exactly do the girls in AT3 turn into completely different personas? Clothes I can understand but turning into completely different characters is stretching it a little. Then again they strip down to power up now so nothing really surprises me anymore.

Well, there's more like an episode of AT where Lyner crashes, Aurica shows up, and then the airship falls down to Firefly Alley, where Sleipnir shows up for no raisin, and then Krusche fixes the airship so they fly up into the Blastline and kill Sleipnir. And it's kind of poorly animated. But it has Pheyma, and randomly uses music from the game.

It's definitely worth watching once (well, I'll say that about anything AT-related at this point), but it's not exactly fantastic.

Shurelia's ending was a little unfair. On one hand you only have her for a few hours at most, her 'cosmosphere' is relatively short, you don't get costumes out of it and overall you don't interact with her that much compared to Aurica and Misha. On the other hand she's deliciously moe, falling in combat, acting tsundere around Lyner etc. And yet none of this really effected my decision to pick her. Overall I'd have picked her anyway but the main reason I really selected her was guilt. Just know what she's been through all this time.. only to find someone she can trust and confide in. Someone who she actually has feelings for. And then being rejected..
