Cost of living is high in the city, unless you become proficient in Japanese, and even past that, you'll most likely always be a 'foreigner' to everyone, you wont be able to unbreak the 'system of process' that most places and things have..........

Here's another good one. If you do not have a bachelors degree, you will be unable to acquire a job, period. Unless you ride on the marriage visa, then no one will want to hire someone with higher education. If you get past that, then you have to wait 5-10 years for a permanent resident card.

- People are actually nice and not loud boorish assholes
- They're also attractive
- Japanese food kicks ass
- So does Japanese TV, it's so much better than all the boring shit Americans get
- It's one of the most technologically advanced places on earth, at least in the cities.
- Japanese fashion's my favorite in the world
- The Japanese countryside is so beautiful, breathtaking, and I think unlikely to be spoiled in future...?
- It's almost impossible to find certain Japanese things (like literature, music) abroad, even online
- For example I want a kotatsu but no one sells them anywhere
- I like the language alot and am teaching myself anyway...
- I love their apartment design+futons+eberythingggg aaa my friends would think I was dumb if I set up tatamis in my apartment here.
- I do like anime and manga...

I'm sure there's more, but damn that's a lot of reasons isn't it. Seems the only reasons NOT to go are:

- Work sucks
- They hate foreigners apparently? I bet they don't, and just hate the assholes

What is your degree OP ? You do know that in order to have the right to work in Japan, you need to have studied for at least 3 years in an university ? There are exceptions, but if you don't have that, unless you have a special skill, you're screwed.

Also, in Japan, as in any country, you'll face xenophobia. For everything : work, a place to rent, etc...

And lastly, do you have enough knowledge of the Japanese language ? Did you pass the JLPT ? If you're not level 1, you won't be able to do shit other than english teacher.
