Yeah, you raid the jail for women at one point because Rance wants to fuck the girl running the place (you also find Kanami there at that point). There is the magic device that holds especially dangerous people in suspended animation, and a terrorist group there wants to free some of their members. However Rance bursts in, sees the nurse's picture and is like, she's cute so I'll free her.

Turns out she's a murderer called the "bloodstained angel" who killed like a hundred people with a scalpel before. You later need to track her down and she has already murdered another 80 or so people thanks to Rance freeing her. He then punishes her by fucking her silly, then leaving her for others to fuck as well (pic related).

SR is pretty good, but I wish there would be more flexibility when it came to mechanics. Some things are really not explained in the game.

Since this is your first game, you can not win anymore because you didn't get the lemons for Miki. Because of that, she becomes the Demon King and you auto-lose.

Just restart. If you insist on using a turn-by-turn guide, look at the 13 turns for 3rd war fan 1st game under the Extreme Games section.

If Miki is the demon king then you have no real choice but to start over. If she isn't then just let the demon army take all those territories and go get the lemons asap from the dungeon. It's in the southern Tenshi sect land iirc. Wait it out long enough and they'll give you permits for auto wins and even longer and they'll just give you all of the non-shimazu map

The walkthrough on the wiki just tells you specifics on each house you can go to war with really and special factors with each. then later how to go into the IF routes and starts with some specific TRUE events.

6 is WAY too drawn out for me. There were like 30 hours of pretty much nothing happening before the story really got moving again.

6 has a good story for a Rance, but yeah it's a little too long.
But it's still top tier RPG eroge, it's no Ikusa Megami Zero though.

Seigan probably didn't show up to join you since, I'm guessing, you defeated Tenshi during your game. If you didn't conquer them, then his start-of-turn event hasn't happened yet because it is extremely low priority and the story events haven't finished playing.

For a first run, I'd ignore trying to recruit Seigan. By the time you get him, he really doesn't bring much to your army unless it's complete shit. Sure, the -25% Max HP to all enemies is nice and all, especially for the BR, but you should have enough units at that point that can auto-kill extremely troublesome units while the rest of your army finishes off the enemy normally.

The only other reasons to recruit Seigan are:

1) Character clear.

2) Rance receives training from Seigan and gains 10 or so levels. Useful, but I'd rather have 2 level 50 commanders than 1 level 60, especially since you don't want to frontline Rance/Kentarou in the last fight against Xavier unless they are at 99.

You always frontline one of them. Rance should be strong enough to take 1 or 2 direct hits, and somone capable of guard shikigami and heals should be present. Not sending him or kentarou up front cuts your damage down severly.

And I never got Seigun normally, i ahd to intentionally get him after making Tenshi surrender during a Ran route.

I find it safer and easier to leave Rance in the back row since Xavier can only hit that area with his multi-target attack; no bullshit "lol I kill you Rance" and having to waste time cycling through to get Kentarou out into the field.

I'm having some trouble in the game, after Ogawa Kentarou joins Ranmaru dies of an unfortunate accident, and he replaces her in the commander roster. There's no scene about it. Is there any way to prevent it? I'd rather not dismiss any of my commanders as they're all special commanders by now(no generic ones).

You can't have more than 30 commanders. When a mandatory join event happens you WILL lose a commander. Do what's best for everyone and fire one instead. Nobody deserves to die of an unfortunate accident.

The only restrictions on the Xavier fights are:

1) Rance/Kentarou must be the first unit to attack

2) Once (1) is satisfied, Rance/Kentarou must be present on the field to deal damage.

I have Orime and Omachi, and have taken over the southern area, while the north area just has the last castle left(not taken over). I haven't seen Noir in battle yet, and I don't think I was able to capture Nogiku.

How do you get Masamune to join?
I captured Nogiku,Orime,Noir,Omachi(as stone/crystal). After I take over his last castle, he leaves everything to Rance and rides off. I've read in that wikia walkthrough that you need him to clear Omachi, and that I shouldn't clear any of the youkai's paths without him. How the hell do I get him to join?

is this enough to defend takeda's blitz? I could raise my troop count but I don't want to get fucked over by scaling.
