Sometimes they do it well... Iron Attack! did a great Trooper cover with "Cavalry Maid." What makes Vampire Concierto disappointing is that after the introduction, they depart entirely from Tocatta al Fugue, which makes me wonder why it's even there in the first place. It's not essential to the song.
It's fun to hear a song you like integrated into another song you like... it's not fun to hear remix #9001 of a song you like or to hear it being meaninglessly added to another song just to make it sound better. I'm looking at you, rap music industry.

I've fixed the tags on this release, it seems that the cue sheet that came with it was messed up. If you already have this album you don't have to download the entire thing again, just change the artist of "Pendulum" track to ziki_7 and "Hellfire tranced" to oiko. And yes, this album is certainly worth a listen. Rural Makai City Esoteria remix sounds bloody amazing.
