Not any set ones, but once an odd moon I get myself into weird dreams involving one. Like last night, I dreamed that I somehow had gotten involved in a pretty redhaired lass and become more and more lovey dovey with (though still rather restrained), but then I woke up. Weird thing, though, is it was actually a false awakening, though I still felt the crushing feeling of a broken dream.
And as per usual the long dream, an alternative take slowly followed in which she ended up being some sort of android/artificial human which I was supposed to help maintain or help activate to some degree, but the university or whatever organization saw somehow saw through my feelings and decided to ban me from her. And then, some random bros out of nowhere decide to help me hack me through, using some weird shit like geothermal/static equations or whatnot. And just when it seemed all would go well and we'd be reunited, I wake up, for real this time. Feels pretty bad man, especially since I've pretty much steeled myself to a life of loneliness. But dreams like these can really mess with your resolve, cause the feelings feel quite real.

Canon is that Kaguya annoys the shit out of Mokou in a mostly one-way relationship (even the Extra Stage of Imperishable Night was her sending the players to annoy Mokou). Semi-canon (Inaba&Inaba) is that Tewi exacerbates the relationship by being Tewi.

I prefer to think that Mokou got over the grudge long, long ago and their current relationship has more complex roots.

Living forever is awesome. There are tons of Youkai in Gensokyo who have lived longer than Mokou or Kaguya who don't have problems coming up with things to do. And there are plenty of characters other than the Houraians who have, at a minimum, an indefinite lifespan.

There are many truly amazing things in this world and I can't quite see why love couldn't be special just because it may be nothing but chemicals.

While I don't have a waifu, it's not strange to be attracted physically and emotionally to a character, even several characters.

When someone writes out characters (Or is at least a decent writer) he or she wants them to be seen as people, and if the writer succeeds then we end up caring about the characters.

We cry when one of them dies, or smile when they're happy.

It's the way fiction has always worked.

It's why people have favorite characters.

And, despite the jokes and weirdos with the whole waifu thing, this is also caused by a character being well written, or just similarly liked among its fans.
