Yeah, PS3 is one of the worst consoles of all time. All these glorified tech demos they are trying to pass of as games are starting to bother me, but even more annoying are the fanboys / astroturfers who are desperately trying to tout them as killer applications.
Just look at how many people are still talking about MGS4 (answer: zero). Do you think any other PS3 game can stand a chance of being remembered?

The thing is, in states you can advertise on one TV-station and whole USA will see it. On Europe you have lots of different countries, and many have their own stupid languages.

I think the PS3 is fine. Maybe not a comercial succses, depending on how you look at it, but it doesn't seem that bad...

About half of Europe is somewhat fluent in English, a big percentage of which is comprised of young people. Also, the English being used in videogames is baseline at best.

Do you really think that? I mean out of 33 people in my class in high school, 5 knew speakable English, 3 were about my level. Everyone else was horrible, they could communicate with you in real life with hand and feet but they were no way near a fluent conversation level.

I lived in the Czech republic too, there even less people knew English since everything was dubbed in Czech. So Czechs know even less English then Croatians do. I also have some family in Germany so I speak German about the same as English, I asked them if they knew English and they said there was a few people in their classes that knew proper English but most of them where on a very very low level.

So I know for a fact from 3 European countries that Croatia is by far the best English speaker, simply because we don't dub TV series and movies on televisions but we sub them so people hear English, Spanish, German on TV on a daily basis.
