This bitch never did grow on me. I'm surprised she has such a large fanbase. Really, I'm glad that she's gone now, her motives were shallow as hell.

She just really, really, really wanted Battler's penis.

>> No.4839409

She's got, you know, this glitter... She is an intelectual rapist, a 'logical yandere'. It makes her unique and nowadays people can go just for that.
I personally only sympathised with her when she was losing. Though a lot of hot doujin lesbian sex with Dlanor at the very least speaks for her, too.

In a nutshell.....

People were struggling to come up with motives for why Kyrie and Jessica would troll like they do in episode 4. They both seemingly had nothing to gain by trolling Battler over the phone in episode 4.

There was a consensus that Kyrie was actually trying to help Battler by telling him about witchs, while Jessica was trolling him, despite being good in the past. And so the Batman analogies came to be.

Yeah, pretty competent.
But I like her anyway.

lol @ she's gone, Battler will probably revive her in the 7th episode, you can't perma off someone who's that popular. Needless to say I think Erika backfired on Ryu07, he never thought she'd be that popular. In his interviews, he said Erika wasn't really all that bad, but turned her into a psychotic bitch in EP6. Annnnnd she only got more popular

well whatever, Erika was basically an extension of Bern so hopefully we get some Yandere Bern in Ep7

>> No.4839463

>>4839449 Ange will propably revive her

fix'd

Her powers work outside the gameboard, she can (from the future point) find things that can be nonexistant on the island, because 'as far as the game board is concerned, it is safe to assume so'. It is implied that red is 'a rule', therefore a game mechanic and works this way.

Beato: [red]I can't revive Sakutarou. Sakutarou can' be revived anyhow.[/red]
Ange: I just did, your argument is invalid.

Same goes for 'This Beatrice cannot be revived'. If she finds 'her' in the future, she can effectively bring her back to the game board. So, who is looking forward to Milf Jessie?

Mainly this. She is what I'd be if I were placed in the middle of Rokkenjima, doing all sorts of crazy shit like taping every windows in the middle of a massive storm and getting excited when the murders begin. When she revealed that she listened to Battler sleep all night I couldn't keep this huge grin off my face.

The thing is that she's appealing exactly because she was so smug in the stories.
The fact she acted so arrogantly, when combined with her total dependance on Bern for her very existence in the story (An existence in the story that, if you read the tips of EP6, can actually be doubted at the fundamental level), makes her incredibly insecure and pitiable.
And just like the contrast gap between 'tsun' and 'dere', or 'Skilled at battle' and 'naive at relationships', it makes her endearing and moe.

Messed up the spoiler tag, but oh well.

Another reason she's likable is that in a whole story of ambiguous goals (eg. 'I'll deny witches but I care about Beatrice', 'I'll troll Battler but he's important to me', 'I want Battler to win but not in a boring way', 'I'm against Bern but really just in it for the lulz'), Erika is straightforward and open with her 'I'll solve the mystery and no morals or fucking sentimental complications are gonna stop me'. This was probably one of the reasons why Eva-Beatrice was liked as well, because they both have a clear goal and are prolific and ruthless in trying to attain it.

It's not as much the difference between 'plain cruel' and 'interestingly cruel', but more, as I said, the difference between 'straightforward' and 'wtf is she up to'.
You know where you stand with characters like Evatrice and Erika, but Bern might always have another facet of her personality mysteriously tucked away to overturn your conception of her with, and that can make you wary of her.

>> No.4840138

>>4840110

She doesn't actually CAUSE physical pain, but she is responsible for physical pain being caused...if that makes sense. She went to Ange at age 6 and told her that she could see her brother if she denied Eva's love. This led to their relationship to sour and for her to find the truth behind her brother's death. In the Fantasy world, she sacrificed herself almost needlessly after having a horrible life growing up, and died horribly. In the real world, her investigations led her to eventually get shot and killed on Rokkenjima...and dying horribly still. If she denied Bern, then Eva and Ange could have had a good mother/daughter relationship, and she most likely would have been safe from the Sumaderas.

Bern didn't kill her. She was murdered/sacrificed herself because of something that Bern did. That is FAR worse than actual killing, and the best part is that Bern didn't even have to get her hands dirty.

I will never have Bern break my spirit and will to live ;_;
