Thanks for waiting. The key is an item called “short curtain”. It's made on the Loom. There are a few variations of it (this one is just a stick, there are also ones with fabric hanging from it), but this trick works with any of them. I acquired the recipe by chance.

These short curtains are technically doors, but they're always open, and more importantly, they have the unique property of removing the entire wall, all the way up to the roof if the room is set to Atrium(On).
You can then hide them with the Visibility tool on the Build Board and use the Toggle Wall Pillar tool to create an open colonnade.

Feed them stat food. Give them orens (you can give them money directly in Elin) so that they can up their potentials and learn new skills if given at least 20k. Train up their combat skills by getting everyone into a small area in one of your lands, then restrain yourself onto a torture device like gallows, x-cross or wooden horse. Pets and residents will automatically attack restrained targets like as if they're attacking a training dummy, but more frequently. You also get to train your defensive skills at the same time, and so long as you have stamina (being on a restraint gradually drops your stamina), you cannot die either.

If you're truly that far ahead (and making full use of the Lonely Soul feat), then it'll take twice or even three times as long for your pets to get anywhere close to your level while you keep making sure their potentials are topped up. If you're able to achieve what you have with the use of the Lonely Soul feat, taking on party members will only make yourself weaker just for the sake of having party members.

But well, it's just like in Elona(+); at the start, you could choose to depend on pets either entirely or partly, or try the harder but guaranteed late game future of true solo play. With how class feats go, I feel like unless you really need that +10/20% melee/ranged damage, extra spell domains or luck, you're better off in the long run picking up a class with unique class feats that can't be replicated but has benefits throughout the entire game. So for instance, Farmer's Farming Legs for lower stamina usage, Pianist's increased Music success rate and bonus tips and Priest for bigger God Faith bonus. Or any of the Backer classes, especially Executioner if you plan to go melee to use your MP as another HP bar, and being immune to being insta-gibbed by a 'cuts your neck' effect is incredible for the times when you wish you had it. Combine Executioner with Wraith, and you have an Executioner with decent HP but good MP bar, with the added bonus of half MP usage with HP is 0, so your effective HP from MP is doubled.

You can. You can offensive train magic spells just by targeting them onto an empty tile. Just make sure you don't have someone friendly accidentally walking into that tile (or tile(s), if you were leveling bolt spells for some reason). The only type you can't 'train' on an empty tile is probably the Miasma type spells.

Normal pots remove 2 diseases, blessed ones 4. You don't get to choose which one is removed. So if you happen to have 2 diseases, one disease that you want to keep but one you don't want, then you'll have to choose to either lose it, or wait until you get a 3rd ether disease (hoping that it's also not one you want to actually 'keep') before you savescum until it removes the two bad ones.

Only mushrooms don't need sunlight to grow. The only thing that makes Winter hard to grow crops is that there is no 'sunlight' in Winter (to show 'not adequate sunlight', I assume). Since mushrooms don't need sunlight to grow, they can be grown anywhere. Inside houses, in your bedroom, in your tent, even dungeons. A popular one currently is people completely leveling Lesimas as the dungeon can be entered, but is a static dungeon even at level 1, and then turning the entire dungeon floor (or at least a part of it) into a giant mushroom farm.

Though as was in the Notes section of one of the previous changelogs, the ability to grow crops outside of your own Lands currently is a carryover from the Alpha and Beta versions of Elin; this can be enforced at any time. Just go to a ruin dungeon and scoop up the chemicals on the floor. They most often produce bottles of dirty water which work just fine for making a cauldron. (Also for making a dye maker too)
