Only if the game has the option to playan abridged version, either from the installer or from an in-game menu. My workplace has tasks that are assigned on a daily basis, and which can change throughout the day depending on what is needed. Simply assigning someone to a particular task (which is their job) is enough to cause them to blow up, especially if they were standing around doing nothing beforehand.

Yes because if you look at how bad they perform and the censorship involved including awful translations then you will see that the other industries are horrible. VN's have mostly passionate translators that care and a community that is willing to call things out including the companies themselves updating things.

Yes it does matter. Because the customer expects to get what they pay for. If the content is not being what they paid for and the quality is down including censorship or issues with a rushed translation that is not professionalism that is just lazy. Again I see VN's as more professional than that of other industries and the quality is higher as well.
