Seriously though, I like this artist somewhat, but he can't seem to escape the same look for every character.

All this aside though, I find I have a odd fondness for Aya these days. At first I was annoyed with her pervasiveness in the Touhou series and how she managed to get into Mountain of Faith and Subterranean Animism, but now I look at it differently, like she's always been there and the series wouldn't be the same without her.
