I know, this is more /v/ related than /jp/ related, so don't tell me to go to /v/ because I did but, I don't feel like posting in a sea of posts. Anyway, this game is /jp/ related somehow because it comes from japan, and japanese vidya games are part of the otaku culture.

Has anyone tried this game? It seems to be very long, and there's not a lot of information on the internet, I has been searching for some walktroughs but everyone is still incomplete. There's also a place in the game called "Never Ever" or something like that (my game is not the english version), and requires a black cell to access it. What's that place and how/when can you access it?

Sorry, but I am only on chapter 3.

The best part of the game so far is buying cute outfits for Reanbell.

it's damn great
black hex is probaly needed for the last boss

Still on chapter 3? I'm on chapter 7 already. I think there are 15 chapters.

The place I'm talking about is on the lower level of the tower, but you must go trough the abandoned elevator of the 4th level. You need a black cell or something like that to unlock the elevator, and 3 more black cells to unlock that place. I'm really curious.

For all it's flaws I actually enjoyed this. Though I had just played FF13, which was god awful.

Though it still scored higher in reviews. Now don't come with inb4 reviews.

Sorry, I can't afford something nice like a PS3.

Tri-Ace is always /jp/ related.

Bought it, but I haven't played it past the Arena tutorial yet because I'm working on clearing my backlog out. Once I finish Fatal Frame 4 (which I'm currently playing), I'll probably start RoF.

It mainly got bad reviews for being too hard. Perhaps they should've made two of the characters automated and let you mash an auto-battle button through 99% of fights.

It's hard at the beggining. But then you get used to it. The battles are too long, but it's nice.

It's easy to level up your characters if you make them fight with weapons that they don't use too often.

>> No.4802886

It's Neverland I believe, you can access it by obtaining the black energy hexes from the two sub-bosses in the last dungeon. Don't kill the last boss, go out and you have access to it. It's considered the 'extra' dungeon of the game and is, apparently, very hard unless you grinded SMG levels with Vashyron.

I'm only up to chapter 6 or something so far but I'm finishing up the garbage that is Final Fantasy XIII before I move onto it again. The combat is fun and it's actually hard in some places. Reanbell/Leanne is also pretty fappable, especially if you get her some decent outfits. You don't really need a walkthrough, you just do the main missions of the chapter and then go to the guild board and do the side quests if you want and/or complete the arena stages.

Hmm, I still need to play AT3 too.. not enough time in a day for a NEET who sleeps for 12 hours.

Why Vashyron? Is he better with the SMG than others?

I wish I had cute cat ears and an Xbax like Kaguya. My life sucks ;_;

>> No.4802926

Each character gets different skills when they reach certain levels for each weapon. Vashyron gets a skill at level 94 SMG that basically has a 95% chance or something silly of completely filling the targets health with scratch damage instantly so it makes most fights laughable. But this is only a concern if you grind for it, most people only get to level 60 or so per weapon.

hmm, where do I get new weapons? I heard there's a secret armory on a mine or something, but I'm not sure. I'm still at the beggining of chapter 7, leveling up my characters on the arena.

I knew there would be something nice. Do want!

Sell your items. Quite a lot of the junk you pick up can't be used so feel free to sell the stuff in your inventory that doesn't say it's used by the tinkerer or whatever.

Glass Shard (150) + Scrap Iron (200) -> Scope Beta (3000) = 3350, sells for 4100. Never have money issues again. Not that there' s all that much to buy in the first place.

>> No.4803220

This is made by the same developer that made Star Ocean 4, right?

I think I'll pass on this game.

It's a lot better than the garbage that is Star Ocean 4. Only 3 characters but there's quite a lot of customisation and the battle system quite good too. And it's actually hard so no mindlessly mashing A.
