It might have been an attempt to bring out their true characteristics or part of it. A majority of the time, Jessica and George are in Battler's group, but at the same time, that wouldn't be enough to exclude them as a possible accomplice or mastermind.

>she's convinced her first child is dead
exactly, and who do you think she may blame after investigating some 'fishy' circumstances that will surely point at ushiromiya intervention?
basically my bet goes for: Kyrie believes that the ushiromiya family is responsible for her miscarriage
also, now that you mention ange, tell me it's NOT suspicious, she got ill the day before and recovered the next day

>> No.4786384

>>4786323
But with Ange, that shouldn't be enough to make her suicidal and abandon her child. Kyrie's hatred was towards Asumu. If she wanted anything from the Ushiromiya family, it'd probably financial support for Rudolf, or if she still does have ties; the Sumadera family.

The point is George is Ronove. I mean who else would be nice enough to kill Genji, Kanon, and Shannon quick and painlessly in episode 3? And then jump out a window to move their bodies only to be killed by his Dad?

>> No.4786513

And let us not forget that in episode 2 George is staked in his stomach. Not necessarily fatal. Shannon had relatively the same kind of wound to her head that Jessica did in episode 4. And from what Battler saw for all that blood to come out when he lifted her head up she must of hit her head on something pretty hard.

>> No.4786542

>>4786513
That's true. Shannon had to be have shot by a gun though. It's impossible for just the stakes to penetrate the skull. What's unclear is whether or not Battler or Rosa searched the room thoroughly.

I think they were taking the character traits into account more than how much culprit potential they have.

Kyrie is the priestess card. The priestess is about common sense, intuition, wisdom, and introspection. These are all things that are part of Kyrie's personality it has nothing do with how she could be the culprit.

Kanon is the hanged man. The hanged man is about conformity, nonaction, waiting, and acceptance. These are all things that are part of Kanon's personality with his idea about being furniture. Nothing about being a culprit there.

>> No.4787414

>>4787371
Which is again all very well and good, but Jessica being a closed individual via being a tsundere doesn't SEEM to be part of her character.

If she is lying to everyone, like many suspect, then yeah, the card makes sense.

I'm not saying the cards represent a culprit in and of themselves. If the cards represent a character, and if that representation means one who decieves people, well, it's a mystery. Deception implies guilt.

So basically, in a nutshell. The card represents that she had a disposition. Said disposition is a disposition that culprits tend to have.
