Getting Reinforcements from Zeth
Aiming for that <3 nation first, then going for Asai and Miko while destroying the Sector and Iga.

I'd go for the raccoon dog nation just to get Senhime, but I want MikoInst. first to get Natori and Himiko.

On the game I'm playing right now (Which is my 3rd try) Hojou has been taken over by Takeda while the Musket family and Uesugi are at war with me. I own Asakura,Iga,Sect, and <3 with a pretty okay army.

Ran is fairly low level, not that useful for dungeon/non-army combat.

The best characters as far as max level are Senhime, Kenshin, Uruza, and Nozomi if I recall correctly.

Anyway, the demon army is not that tough, if you have 18 decent captains you should be fine. The real challenge in this game is killing Orochi.

In my game, they were hired by the Houjou's (Baba and Yamagata) and and Iga's (Kousaka).

Iga was the last country; Houjou had 1 territory, 2 provinces left.

Capturing both Yamagata and Baba in one war... Frustrating. Too many reloads were to count.

Just keep fighting...sometimes it can take a very long time. Before I completed the game report, it took me probably 40-50 turns to get Torako from Shimazu. You just have to have patience.

It is quite likely that they will only be used on offensive fights. Never invade those countries and just let them attack you all the time. Their defense is basically the same on certain territories, meaning if you attack, you won't be able to capture the commanders they hired from other houses.

To be a bit more specific, some territories have fixed defenders. The same people will defend no matter how many times you attack. E.g. first battle in Mikan, Miko institute, Shikoku. In these cases hired help obviously can't appear.

But if it's a normal territory they will appear on defending as well. And once you know they work for a certain house you can lure them out by attacking multiple times, scouting and cancelling if they don't appear, to exhaust the other defenders.

It's not reliable though. So saying Omachi isn't the best because you can assassinate her doesn't work. Omachi is very fast. There's a good chance she will outspeed your ninja and nail you with lightning, cutting your troop size dramatically, ruining your chance at assassinate.

So the best team would be Omachi, Takedas and?

As I have told you, the best army in Sengoku Rance is made by combination of other units. Assassinate 2 yes it does work at everything. Still, I prefer not to use them in the earlier battle (especially when the enemy's unit size is bigger).

It's all depend on circumstances. Like, how big is the enemy's army, how many troops Omachi owns, what's the total troops of your attacking/defending
army, what's the number of intelligence does the nina has...

Despite the disadvantages, Assassinate 2 is definitely the best attack, including against Omachi. But arguably, your point is also correct (Omachi has higher speed/bigger army/better stats).

In short, depending on the troop size and the ninja's status, we can't say for sure whether the Assassinate would work on which player with which Omachi.
