Don't get me wrong, I love some of Nintendo's stuff too. The gaming industry wouldn't be the same without them. I just think it's stupid that a game like SMG (that was admittedly a lot of fun), pipped Bioshock and Mass Effect to the post of GOTY. Well, for what it's worth, Japanese folks have historically made way better shmups and fighting games. Although out of that list, GGXX and Touhou are really the only games that are comparable/better than other offerings in the genre.
